Servicing all of Greater Charlotte Area

McGuire air-powered dock levelers are an economical alternative to hydraulic levelers, but are still operated with a push-button activation.  An air bag or bellows system is used to raise and lower the deck.  All McGuire dock levelers are built with a structural steel frame and a full width rear hinge for added strength and durability.

CentraAir® Air Powered Leveler

Pit Style, Compressed Air Powered Dock Leveler

The McGuire® CentraAir® (CA) air-powered dock leveler incorporates the use of existing plant air or dedicated compresser and an industrial automotive-grade air bellows system to raise and lower the platform.  It’s operated with “push button” activation and requires no electricity in the pit, making the unit perfect for wash down applications or wet environments.

The CA Air-Powered Leveler is an environmentally friendly addition to any material handling operation and will have minimal effect on the building’s electrical footprint. This leveler is available in a wide range of sizes and capacities and can be modified for special applications.

The CentraAir Leveler comes in 6’, 6’6” & 7’ standard widths and 6’, 8’ & 10’ standard lengths. Standard capacities are 25K, 30K, 35K, 40K, 45K and 55K CIR (Comparative Industry Rating).  Patent US 8, 627, 529

Features:

Air bellows lifting system

Utilizes the same lift technology as air ride suspension trailers to raise the leveler and extend the lip.

Structural Steel Frame

While some manufacturers use flat stock or other light duty material, McGuire uses 4″ structural “C” channel on all pit levelers.

Full Width Rear Hinge

McGuire is the only dock leveler manufacturer that employs a full width rear hinge mounted in compression, using a 1″ diameter solid steel rod. So indestructible, it carries a lifetime warranty.

Simple two way air valve

Very reliable and low maintenance air valve system controls the flow of air to inflate the bellows and then lower the leveler.

Pneumatic push button operation

Push-button activation without any electrical needed. Simple push button activation opens the leveler mounted valve raising the leveler. Release of the button allows leveler to gently lower onto the truck.

Power by Plant Air or Dedicated Compressor

Utilizing either your existing plant air or a dedicated compressor provides flexibility to apply this environmentally friendly system. An in-line regulator assures you of consistent 90PSI operation. Usage of an “Air” push button makes this a very “Green” system.

Lockout/Tagout Maintenance Strut

Enhance safety at the dock during required maintenance and adjustments with this high visibility safety feature on all McGuire dock levelers. This takes your dock safety program to a higher level with suggested usage of this feature.

Full Range Telescoping Toe Guards

Provides top safety to your employees at the dock while operating any McGuire hydraulic or air operated dock leveler. Assures any dock leveler with a downward bias inherent in operation has enhanced safety closures at the edges to protect your employees.

MA Air Powered Leveler

Pit Style, Air Powered Dock Leveler

The MA Series air-powered dock leveler is designed to provide easy push button pneumatic operation along with dependability and strength in light to medium to some heavy duty applications. The “MA” offers a practical alternative to achieve easy push button smooth, consistent operation like the “H” and “HP” hydraulics with the same built in safety, durability and toughness. Ease of clean out and servicing are features of all McGuire levelers. Your budget, your safety and trouble free service continue to be number one with McGuire. They are also most often mounted in a pre-formed pit at the dock commonly used to reduce the grade between the dock floor and the trailer bed. Various sizes and capacities allow for a large amount of flexibility.

The “MA” air operated levelers have built in safety features and save time in operation and maintenance. They come in 6’, 6’6” & 7’ standard widths and 6’, 8’ & 10’ standard lengths. Standard capacities are 25K, 30K, 35K, 40K, 45K and 55K CIR (Comparative Industry Rating).
